Feliciano is a fourth generation “agavero” (agave cultivator) and has spent all his life nursing the plants in his fields with great concern. The distillery El Ranchito was founded in 1994 and is located by the entrance of the town Arandas in Los Altos. The family owns more than 800 hectares of land in the mountainside of Los Altos. Feliciano, born in 1923, still goes out to the fields once a week to overlook the plantations. This mixto is produced using traditional brick ovens and copper pot stills. The high agave content and the skill with which it is made make it very difficult to separate it from 100% Agave Tequilas.
